Battle for Fulgur Orbital Station

This was from back in December at a local gamestores gameday. I don't remember enough of the details for an accurate retelling, but the pictures do a pretty good job.

The Sons of Medusa did eventually win the day, only after losing 3 Battle-Brothers to the tide of cultist.

Sons of Medusa Update 1

Here is a preview of what to expect out of the rest of the Sons once they are all assembled. Other than the space marine bits, the rest are from the bionics selection over at Anvil Industries. They fit very well with the marines and I like the look of them.

I'll be working on getting a few squads put together for the campaign, but they will look sweet once they are done.

The Start of War Clan Mageara

I painted these Marines up a few months ago, but never got around to posting them. I made them for a scenario that my friend Chris over at Sippin on Paint Water came up with for a local Games Day event.

Since the return of a friend from school, we are going to have a small campaign and he looks forward to seeing more Sons on the battlefield to engage with his Word Bearers. Happy to oblige I'm working on producing more, but highly augmented, as they should be. I look forward to sharing them with you in the coming weeks!

Legion of the Damned Seargent

This is the test model that I painted up for a Legion of the Damned army a few years ago, then got busy with other things and nothing ever came of it.

I absolutely love the way he turned out, I just never got around to finishing the other models in the army.

Divine Blessings

So the divine touch of greater beings has affected me this week,
and I've decided to start a Chaos army...
I introduce to you, Hadadezer's Guilded Disciples
(Haa-duh-deh-zhur, just in case you were curious)
I have a paint scheme and badge made for them, now for the army list, fluffy bits, and the work of assembly and paint.

My first squad of Chaos marines

COME AT ME BRO!
If you look in the right places, you'll probably notice they aren't all made of just chaos bits, I'm making these guys more of a recent addition to the forces of chaos, they haven't entirely converted their armor to the dark gods. I can now add one more project to my to-do list, I really need to work on my Sons of Medusa as well as the three armies that need to be painted, but that's for a different post i suppose, eh?

Sons of Medusa!

For reasons unknown to myself, I have been talked into making a 1000pt strike force for Sons of Medusa. I started looking into their fluff and, to my surprise, found them to be amazingly bad ass. More so than most of the fluff for the conventional Codex: Space Marine Chapters. They are unique in their founding of a chapter, as they were never actually founded. They were reviewed by the High Lords of Terra after a dispute with their previous battle brothers, the Iron Hands, left them exiled. They were found to be pure and righteous in the eyes of the Emperor and granted special chapter status. Here is the first Sergeant I have assembled, his right arm is bionic, I plan to make it more detailed soon.
Squad Sergeant Aes Pugno see's heretics behind the mouse!

She's a Predator....

So I've almost completed modding the armor plates on my predator, and will prime it and get some pics up of it "soon". I had some help on making it look bigger and meaner, without it becoming too plain looking. The turret on this thing looks even more like a pea shooter than it did before.

What are you callin' a pea shooter?

I like the way the rear plating turned out.
Just a few more plates to add to the sides to add some depth and flavor, then some green-stuff filling work to get rid of some of those gaps in the plating.

On the road again...

I'll be running around Roxboro and Hillsborough over the next couple of days doing my installs, and looking for interesting things to do/see. Also thinking about how I want to mod and paint the Predator that Chris so graciously painted a (surprisingly detailed) penis on... You can see it here if you wish. I do believe I'm going to toss on some plasticard plating for the extra armor, and thinking of a cool effigy of death that fits with the name, Pretium Tincidunt, "Money Shot", to paint on the rear hatch.
